You Must be a Prisoner, You look like a Prisoner, well you must be a Prisoner in Disguise.

The Young and the Restless, my guilty pleasure, through the young and restless years of my life. I still visit with my friends in Genoa City every day. Jack Abbott is having a "Ten of Swords" time in his life. He is paralyzed! This time, he's not paralyzed by fear or passion or greed, he is physically unable to move his legs. He spoke to Nicki Newman, when she came to visit and share some of her own news--Nicki is facing the prospect of being imprisoned, behind steel bars. Nicki and Jack are both "imprisoned". Nicki is imprisoned by the Fear of prison, Jack is held prisoner by his own physical limitations.

In life, we all are held prisoner at one time or another. A Bad romance can hold us hostage. Domestic Violence can make a person a prisoner. You can become a prisoner of passion, a prisoner of desire, a prisoner of Money, of fame, of Fashion. Who is your jailer? Who will pay your bond? If you're a Prisoner and Slave to Sin, we know Jesus is the way, with his Grace you will overcome and win.

Yesterday, I realized how all of us who struggle with our inner demons of our own desires and wants have quite the advantage over people who are imprisoned by their illnesses and physical limitations. During the Superbowl pre-show I was touched by the football players who had ALS who bravely walked onto the field, their once strong and able bodies now bowing to the ravages of their physical prison of ALS disease.

My own Aunt, who is 91, is struggling to walk again. After months of intense therapy, she is going to proudly walk into the Sizzlin' today with her Cane. The Queen of Wands.. Queen of Miracles. I never thought she would be able to venture out that far again.. but with her determination , prayer , faith and help of her therapist and Doctors, she is escaping the jail of her wheelchair.

If your jailer is Lupus, MS, arthritis, Fibromyalgia, stroke paralysis, or another physical ailment, don't give up, Miracles do happen. If your body is limited, you can escape through the power of your mind and spirit. Develop your intuitive powers, your Mind can take you anywhere in the world you choose to go.

Lack of money can imprison a person. Money cannot buy love or respect or happiness, it's true, but Money can open many doors for you.

Everyone of us is a Prisoner, a prisoner of some kind. Some are prisoners of the physical , and some are Prisoners of the mind.

Who is your jailer? What keeps you impounded? Are you jailed unfairly? Are your charges "unfounded?" Escape today. Set yourself free. Be determined to find the golden key.

The Ten of Swords Tarot card, came into my mind yesterday as I watched my beloved Jack lie helplessly in his hospital bed. I can feel his determination and inner strength beginning to flow through his body. The Ten of Swords card brings a message that even in our darkest days and most terrifying nights, if we can muster up one tiny bit of courage and strength, we can survive, and Rise. Choose to escape your prison. If you see another Prisoner in Disguise, help them break free from their own chains and bars. Find your Freedom together.
